There are so many answers to this question. Oftentimes I see people getting caught up in the media's representation of feminism. The whole "burn the bra/men are shit" mentality. Although there are many who believe these ideals I have a different view.
I believe that feminism is for everyone. Equality for all. I'm not arguing that men and women are the same. We are not. Physically, emotionally, we were created differently. What I am arguing is that we all need to be given equal opportunities.
Do you know how difficult it is for women in business? Yes, there have been great strides in the past decades. But there is still so much room for improvement. We as women have to deal with so much in the workplace. If we speak up we are called hormonal and crazy.
As a woman I feel it is my duty to stand up for the less fortunate. For those who don't feel brave enough to speak for herself. I feel a duty to protect my sisters is all of their endeavors. We need to be more accepting and understanding.
These are my thought for today...
